Teacher Wellbeing Sessions

As teachers/ support staff we all know the importance of emotional wellbeing and that we need to be in a good place ourselves if we are going to get the best out of the children we support. Why not take advantage of our six energising and practical sessions to support mental health and wellbeing.

 

In these unique, fun and inspiring sessions we will look at the importance of our wellbeing and develop easy techniques to nurture ourselves and how, when we are feeling stressed and overwhelmed it affects our energy, motivation and drive to make a difference. These sessions will leave you feeling positive and energised with some easy practical tools to keep you motivated long after each session has been completed.

It's Ok Not To Be Ok - Understanding how to support a childs mental health and wellbeing

For people to succeed and reach their full potential we know its important to have to have good mental health and wellbeing, this starts in childhood. So children need to grow and develop in a nurturing environment, this sets the foundation stones for there mental health and wellbeing as an adult. 

 

How we as adults react and interact with children has a massive impact on this. Play is vital to the best possible development of a child, it contributes to the social, emotional, physical and cognitive wellbeing of a child.

 

Sharon will discuss what mental health and wellbeing is, what it means, and look at ways in which you can develop knowledge and tools to support you in your day to day interactions with children and create a nurturing environment.  Sharon is an award winning coach, is NHS England Mental Health first aid trained and is the resident family coach for the Chrissy B Show on SKY TV Channel 191. The UK's only TV Show dedicated to mental health and wellbeing. 

Understanding and Working With Emotional Wellbeing

These practical sessions provide training in emotional wellbeing offering tools that can be used to support students and/or clients get the most out of life.  Choose from a portfolio of sessions that will give you strategies to use straight away.  Sharon is Mental Health First Aid Trained. (Twilights and half day sessions available.)

Developing A Growth Mindset In Children And Classroom Environment

"Everything you don't know is something you can learn!"  This fun and interactive inset training looks at the use of a growth mindset in the classroom with children.

 

Together we will look at the fascinating world behind the psychology of mindset and  Professor Carol Dweck's work and explores our own mindset and asks the question does it matter what mindset you have?

We will also look at how to measure the emotional climate in the classroom, how to praise the growth mindset way and what a growth mindset classroom really looks like.

Happy Playtimes - Assist Young People with Conflict Resolution Skills In The Playground - support staff training

These unique two half-day workshops are designed specifically for M.S.A’s, L.S.A’s and T.A’s wanting to improve their understanding of conflict resolution and emotional health and increase their confidence and ability in dealing with issues assertively and professionally within a school environment.
