Masterclass: Bully Busting

​

This two hour practical and interactive masterclass has been developed using material from popular Parenting Programmes and research in other areas. This masterclass aims to explore the area of bullying and how parents can empower their children to manage the situation. Resources used promote good adult education practice with a clear purpose and range of learning methods etc. It also promotes positive parenting and the parent/child relationship.

 

Learning Outcomes and Workshop Objectives:

  • Understanding what bullying is

  • To recognise the signs of bullying

  • Look at areas of help for a parent to learn strategies that will help empower a child faced with bullying

  • Learn some basic protective behaviour strategies
